Maintaining Weight While Pregnant

Keeping weight gain during pregnancy is very important. Not only add weight, but also be aware of nutrition and calorie content. As we know excessive weight gain is also not good for mother and baby. The following tips can you take a look.

  • Eat five to six smaller meals, but often every day
  • Always carry a snack, like nuts, raisins, cheese, biscuits, fruit, and ice cream or yogurt.
  • Add nonfat powdered milk in foods such as mashed potatoes, scrambled egg, and cereal.
  • You can add other ingredients such as butter or margarine, cream cheese, sauce, gravy, sour cream, and cheese.

And if your weight during pregnancy had more than it should, never on a diet and lose weight. It won’t be safe for you and your baby if you lose weight during pregnancy.
