Do not feel required to announce your pregnancy to everyone as soon as you know.  All women have their own comfort zone regarding when they want to tell everyone.  Some women wait until they have reached the end of the first trimester and the highest risk of miscarriage is over.  Listen to your heart and share the news when you are ready to.

There are many books out there that take you through you pregnancy week by week and will answer any questions you may have. Be aware though that you will not experience everything that you read since each pregnancy is different.

Being in extreme heat can be very hard when you are pregnant. If you find that you are getting overheated, put a cool, damp washcloth on your neck or forehead. This will help to bring down your internal body temperature and also reduce any sweating that might be dehydrating you.

Add appropriate nutrients to your diet and keep track of what you are eating. Ideally, you should add 300 to 500 additional calories per day during pregnancy. Keeping a food journal helps you ensure your additional calories are nutritionally sound for both you and your baby and helps you ensure you are taking in all necessary requirements.

A couple of signs that may signal you’re pregnant before it can be detected by a pregnancy test are sore breasts and bloating. However, these symptoms also accompany your period. If you’re experiencing these symptoms and you don’t get your period, it is probably time to take a test to see if you are pregnant.

The thing about pregnancy is that in the end you should be fine, as long as you are doing the positive things you need to do, nothing should go wrong. Just remember to try and keep as stress free as possible, especially since you just learned a bunch of knowledge about pregnancies and how you can make them smoother.
